Alex Gianturcco was a roommate of a friend of mine. This picture does not depict Alex. If you're not familiar of the picture, it is a photograph of Elle MacPherson that appeared in Sports Illustrated . I don't remember why I chose to make this resume for Alex (a guy). I think he was working on a resume at the time that I did this, and I decided to do him a favor and make this for him.
My thought process for creating this was as follows. Marketing and advertising in today's society often portrays sexually suggestive images of women. It doesn't really matter if the target demographic is not attracted to women. What is apparently important is that sex sells. More specifically, sexy women sell. I'm not condoning or condemning this, just observing.
When you work to create a resume, it's very similar to advertising. You have a product: yourself. And you're trying to sell yourself to prospective employers. So, why not apply the same apparent logic that many other advertisers are using. Instead of filling your resume with lots of words, just use a sexually suggestive image of a woman.
