The papers for the seminar are typically made available only to the mailing list members at URLs included in email to the list.

January 28th, 2004: The seminars have begun again and will be held on Tuesdays from 2 to 3:30 in 149CN.

A major topic for this Spring will be Kernel Methods and Support Vector Machines. Prof. Aslam will give an introduction to the concepts at some point. Professor Futrelle is interested in kernel methods for structured data such as sequences and trees. This type of data goes beyond the fixed-length attribute vector common in kernel methods.

September 9th, 2003: Professor Aslam has the CD and hardcopy proceedings of IJCAI 2003. The full contents can be downloaded here (28 pages, PDF).

September 8th, 2003: The Fall 2003 Seminar will be held each Wednesday from noon to 1:30 in 149CN.

September 5th, 2003: Prof. Futrelle has all the papers from of the AAAI Conference of 2002 on CD. The full contents listing can be found here.

The seminars were held most Wednesdays from 2pm -4pm in 149 Cullinane in the Spring of 2003.
