MORNING:

Come to the FOURTH floor of the Watson CIT Building. Our front desk
staff will be in by about 8:30. If you are arriving sooner than this,
let me know.

BREAKFAST:

We will have a light continental breakfast. Since we're starting at
10:00, we expect most will have eaten before coming; this is mainly
for the benefit of those who need to leave early and fly/drive a
considerable distance.

LUNCH:

We've ordered lunch based on head-counts available last week. There
will be a few extras, but if you want to be safe (and contacted me
late), it wouldn't be a bad idea to pack something, or to plan on
running down to Thayer Street.

PARKING:

IMPORTANT, READ CAREFULLY!

If you already have a map and decal, you're set. Ignore this.

Some of you have contacted me in the past day or two about parking.
In response, a few of our students have offered to stand just outside
the building, so you can drive by and pick up a decal and map. They
will be there between 9am and 10am.

We need to order decals from the parking office, so IF YOU WANT TO
AVAIL OF THIS, PLEASE REPLY BY THIS EVENING. If you don't, we may not
have a parking decal available at all.

The students will wait on Brook, half a block south of Waterman, on
the east side of the street at the entrance to a parking lot. This is
just to the west of the "P" (at the "K" of "Brook") on the lower map:

This is not the lot you will park in; it's just the easiest place for
you to find us. Just drive up, tell them who you are (they'll have a
checklist), and state your most recent theorem or provide a
performance chart from your most recent implementation. If you don't
provide suitable identification of this sort, they may quiz you on GC
techniques or type soundness theorems. Once you are validated,
they'll provide you a parking tag and campus map.

See you all tomorrow!

Shriram
