• If you do not have a Blackboard account yet, sign up at http://blackboard.neu.edu by choosing Create Account and following directions.
• Login into Blackboard and enroll into this course. 
• When you log into your account choose the tab Courses in the top left corner.
• On the right-hand side choose College of Computer Science.
• Choose Winter 2003.
• You will get the list of courses from our department. Click enroll next to this course.
• Congratulations!
• Now when you log into Blackboard you will be presented with links to your courses (at least this course).
• Your first announcement points to the home page for this course.
• Right-click on that link and open our home page in the new window.
• Choose HW0 to get to this page.
• Fill out the questionnaire and put it into the digital drop box in the Blackboard.
• All announcements for this course will be posted to Blackboard.
• Questions of general interest will be answered in a Blackboard discussion forum which you must check on a regular basis.
• Read as much of the reading as possible before the next lecture and let me know if you have difficulty with any material in that chapter.
