Week1: Introduction
This is your first week at COOP. Please write some introduction.
  • Question 1: Is this your first COOP?
  • Question 2: What's the company you are working in?
  • Question 3: What's your job title? Please briefly describe your job or task in this COOP.

Week2: Requirements and Expectations
According to your assigned task and your previous experiences if any, please think about what you are expected and what you are expecting from this COOP.
  • Question 1: Do your coop tasks require programming? What's the programming about, testing, databases, and web applications? Does the programming involve both design and implementation? What softwares are you using in the programming, java, c/c++, perl, PHP, etc? What systems are you working in, Windows, Linux/Unix?
  • Question 2: Are you involved in technical supporting and customer service?
  • Question 3: Does your coop job require any business management skills?
  • Question 4: What are you expecting from this coop experience? For example, improve some programming skills, technical knowledge, and/or management skills, and learning some new techniques and skills, etc. Please think about and write something about it.

Week3: Challenges and Concerns
This is the third week of your coop. Based on your tasks and your objectives, please summarize the challenges in your work.

  • Question 2: What are you most excited about?
  • Question 3: Are your job tasks challenging? What is it about? How do you feel about it?
  • Question 4: What are your major concerns about this coop till now?

Week4: Skills Improvements and Professional Developments
During the last four weeks, how did your coop help you in various aspects?

  • Question 1: When you are programming, do you analyze the problem first and determine the data structure? Do you test your code after debugging? Do you write up document for your code?
  • Question 2: Do you ask questions to clarify your tasks? Do you consult your supervisor and co-workers when you get some questions? Do you make a presentation? Do you interact effectively with customers if any?
