At Princeton University, ETH Zurich, MIT and GTE Laboratories, I was the principal designer of the hardware description language Zeus. Allen Dewey, in IEEE Design & Test of Computers, June 1992, page 6, writes:

"This issue also contains ... short articles on various hardware description languages that have made seminal contributions to the state-of-the-art ... ISPS, ISP', TIHDL, Conlan, ADLIB/SABLE, Zeus, VHDL, Verilog" (in chronological order) 1992 IEEE Design and Test article on Zeus (September 1992).
