Project "Securing Java Guidelines"

Richard Conlan proposed to implement the Securing Java Guidelines
for Java developers using AspectJ.

I think that this is a very good idea:

1. The class can make a contribution to the field by 
   implementing a subset of those rules as an open source project.
   Companies can then use this checker to evaluate the security
   of their Java software.
2. http://www.ccs.neu.edu/research/demeter/biblio/LoD-Checkers-2002.html
   My research group has significant experience in writing such
   checkers and you can get adequate help.
3. This might lead to a conference publication.

Several students could collaboarate on this project.
