I'll describe this in terms of using the SVN command-line client on a
Unix-like machine, though there are other alternatives, which I'll mention
later.
In SVN, we use URLs to name a repository (or a file or directory within
it). You'll get these URLs from your local SVN administrator. In our
case, they're all going to begin with
and your team's specific part of the repository will be in a subdirectory
of that. I'll send you the precise URL for your team once all members of
your team have registered for SVN accounts (see below). For now, we'll use
the ``sandbox'' project.
